Maurice Flavion was a painter, watercolourist, and gouachist. Flavion studied at the School of Art of Charleroi and the School of Music of Montignies-sur-Sambre. His work features notable geometric styles close to abstraction that is sometimes related to cubism. His work featured landscapes, still-lifes, compositions with musical instruments, views of ports and coastline. He exhibition in Thuin, with Thudinie artists in 1957 – 1958 and in Namur at the Meuse Gallery in 1962.
