Pierre Testu (1889–1928) was a French painter active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, though little personal information about his life is available. He is listed in major art reference works such as the Bénézit. Testu specialized in genre scenes, working primarily in oil on canvas or panel. His favored subjects included marine scenes, such as depictions of fishing, kelp gatherers on Breton beaches, and general seaside views. He also painted scenes of country and hunting life, with his work in this area occasionally compared favorably in both quality and subject matter to that of the artist Eugène Petit.
