Now on view through October 27th

Barrington Moore Tabb (April 25, 1934 December 9, 2022) was a prominent English urban painter whose heavily textured, evocative oil canvases chronicled the shifting face of Bristol, England for nearly seven decades. Working outside the mainstream academic art world, Tabb overcame severe economic hardships, class barriers, and physical vision impairment to establish himself as a vital voice in modern British art.
