Pierre Denis Bergeret (1844–1910) was a French painter, born January 19, 1844, in Villeparisis, Seine-et-Marne. A pupil of Eugène Isabey, Jules Lefebvre, and Léon Bonnat, he specialized in still lifes—particularly of shellfish—and kitchen interiors. He exhibited his work in Paris from 1870 until 1908, where his detailed and atmospheric compositions were regularly shown.
