Carlo Christoffer Hornung Jensen was born in 1882. He was a Danish landscape painter, active in Copenhagen.
From 1896 to 1901, he had an apprenticeship in painting. From 1904 to 1906, he studied at the Academy of Copenhagen. In 1906, he trained at the Académie Colarossi in Paris with Christian Krohg and Frits Thaulow. From 1906 to 1907, he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts Paris with Gabriel Ferrier and Léon Bonnat.
