Victor Pasmore was a very important British painter, sculptor, printmaker and educator. He was born in Chelsham, Surrey, England and died in Malta, his second home since 1966. His works are in numerous important collections including Tate Britain, the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the British Museum, the National Gallery of Canada and the Yale Center for British Art (1).
