Paul Koken was born on 2 January 1853, in Hanover;
He is most notable for painting landscapes, winter landscapes, and animals.
During his life, Koken was a member of the Hannoversche School of Arts.
Koken was the son and student of Edmund Koken. After his father’s death, he studied under Lier in Munich and Hagen in Weimar. He settled in Hanover in 1882. Koken died in 1910.
