Raphael de Buck was a Belgian painter, watercolorist and illustrator. He was born in 1902 in Gand, Belgium.
The son of artist Leonard De Buck, Raphael studied at the Académie de Gand under G. Minne.
De Buck is best known for his provacative paintings of nude women, although he did also paint still lifes and lively scenes of ballerinas, gypsies and bar girls.
He died in Ghent in 1986.
