Sarkis Diranian was an Armenian painter who lived during the late 19th and early 20th century. He was born Constantinople during the Ottoman Empire and later settled in Paris where he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts.
Diranian’s paintings often depicted rural life and landscapes, as well as scenes from the Bible and Armenian history. He was influenced by the Impressionist movement, and his use of color and light was notable in his works.
Diranian exhibited his paintings in various art salons and exhibitions, including the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, where he received an honorable mention in 1906. He was also a member of the Société des Artistes Indépendants.
Sarkis Diranian passed away in 1938 in Paris, France.
