Biography of Carl Hasch ( 1834-1897, Austrian )
He was born in Vienna in 1834 and studied there at the Viennese Academy. From 1872 he exhibited in Munich and Vienna gaining numerous awards for excellence and garnering a reputation as one of Austria's premier painters of landscape subjects. Carl Hasch died in Vienna on January 4, 1897. Works by the artist can be seen in the museums of Trieste and Revoltella.
